This Privacy Policy explains how RideMio ("RideMio", "we", "us" or "our") collects, uses, shares and protects your information when you use our mobile applications, websites and services, including rides, food delivery, parcel delivery and vehicle rentals (collectively, the "Services").
By creating a RideMio account or using our Services, you agree to the practices described in this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Services.
2Information we collect
We collect information to provide safe, reliable and personalised Services. This includes:
- Account information — your name, phone number, email address, profile photo and password.
- Location data — precise GPS location of riders and drivers before, during and after a trip, used for matching, navigation, pricing and safety.
- Trip and order data — pickup and drop-off points, routes, timestamps, items ordered and delivery details.
- Payment information — wallet balances and transaction history; card and payment details are processed securely by our payment partners and are not stored in full by RideMio.
- Device and usage data — device model, operating system, app version, IP address and how you interact with the app.
- Communications — messages and calls made through the app between riders, drivers and support, which may be recorded for safety and quality.
3How we use your information
We use your information to operate and improve the Services, including to:
- Connect riders with nearby drivers and merchants and facilitate your trips and orders.
- Calculate fares, process payments and issue receipts.
- Provide navigation, live tracking and accurate arrival estimates.
- Keep the platform safe — verifying identities, detecting fraud and responding to incidents.
- Send you service updates, receipts, promotions and support messages.
- Analyse usage to improve features, reliability and customer experience.

We apply administrative, technical and physical safeguards designed to protect your information, including encryption in transit, access controls and number masking between riders and drivers.
